SFP Infrastructure[1] continues to accelerate its growth, expanding its investment activities, fundraising, and organisational capabilities. The business has now surpassed $430 million in total client commitments and continues to experience strong institutional demand for its dedicated infrastructure secondaries strategy, following two consecutive record fundraising years.
SFP Infrastructure's continued growth reflects increasing institutional investor recognition of infrastructure secondaries as an attractive and maturing segment of the private markets. Following two consecutive record fundraising years, the client commitments have surpassed $430 million.
The second vintage has secured approximately €250 million in client commitments, representing half of its €500 million target size. Supported by a strong fundraising pipeline and continued engagement from both existing and prospective investors, SFP Infrastructure is confident of reaching the target.
Alongside this fundraising progress, the second vintage is deploying capital at pace. The programme has already completed five investments across single-asset GP-led, multi-asset GP-led, and LP-led transactions. This breadth demonstrates SFP Infrastructure's ability to originate and execute across the infrastructure secondaries market while maintaining a highly selective and disciplined investment approach.
Since its inception at the end of 2022, SFP Infrastructure has established itself as a dedicated infrastructure secondaries investment specialist, with a particular focus on the lower middle market. This positioning provides investors with access to a segment that is generally less intermediated and less competitive than the large-cap market.
It also enables SFP Infrastructure to access a broad and differentiated opportunity set and construct diversified portfolios across sectors, managers, geographies, and transaction types. The growth is underpinned by its specialist investment expertise, established sourcing network, and ability to execute complex transactions across both GP-led and LP-led segments of the market.
In line with the expansion of its investment activities, SFP Infrastructure has continued to strengthen its team and organisational capabilities. Felix Jaeger joined SFP Infrastructure in December 2025 from Mercer as a Senior Investment Professional. He brings extensive experience in infrastructure investments and secondaries, further enhancing the origination and transaction execution capabilities.
SFP Infrastructure intends to continue investing in its team and operations as it scales its activities and capitalises on the expanding opportunity set across the global infrastructure secondaries market.
SFP Infrastructure's first vintage has continued to perform ahead of its return objectives and has benefited from early value creation, successfully avoiding the typical J-curve effect. This performance has been supported by the resilience of the underlying infrastructure assets and the disciplined execution of its investment strategy.
The second vintage has also made a strong start, delivering double-digit net returns to date while establishing early diversification across transaction types and underlying investments. SFP Infrastructure remains focused on generating attractive risk-adjusted returns by providing institutional investors with access to carefully selected portfolios of high-quality infrastructure assets.
Marc Wicki, CEO of SFP Infrastructure Partners AG, commented: "SFP Infrastructure has reached an important stage in its development. Since launching the business at the end of 2022, we have grown our client commitments to more than USD 430 million, established a strong investment portfolio and significantly strengthened the team. This progress reflects the relevance of our strategy and the confidence that institutional investors continue to place in our platform. We are seeing sustained demand for infrastructure secondaries and a growing pipeline of attractive investment opportunities. With the second having reached approximately half of its EUR 500 million target size and deploying capital rapidly, we are entering the next phase of growth from a position of strength."
Thomas Hoffmann, Head of Investments at SFP Infrastructure Partners AG, added: "Our dedicated focus and differentiated position in the lower mid market provide us with access to a broad and compelling opportunity set. This segment is generally less intermediated and less competitive than the large-cap market, allowing us to be highly selective while constructing diversified portfolios across assets, managers, geographies and transaction types. The five investments completed by the second vintage across single-asset GP-led, multi-asset GPled and LP-led transactions demonstrate the strength of our sourcing network and execution capabilities. Our experience, established relationships globally and growing investment team position us well to capitalise on the continued expansion of the infrastructure secondaries market."
